Hayward Electric began in 1978, as a joint venture of William Aydelotte and Derald Gephart. They created Hayward Electric believing that craftsman should be compensated based on the merit of their skills, knowledge, and performance.

They believed that their clients deserved the most professional work, completed safely, at the lowest cost.

On May 1, 2018, the Company celebrated its 40th Anniversary. Although neither of the founders are involved in the business any longer, the concepts they founded live on.
